Peter, Grant and Matt have been busy of late applying the base coats of paint to the Hazelnut Inn. They are making fabulous progress! It is a somewhat tedious task with three coats of base colour being applied prior to a blended coat or two and then the glazes followed by the dry brush highlights. It is not your typical ‘mask off and give a quick spray’ kind of job. Everything is brushed by hand, working the paint carefully into the purposefully rough textures. The end result if well worth the effort. These bricks near the entry gate are now ready for their final glaze and dry brushing. Becke is working hard, finishing off the last bits on some projects in the shop so she can have some fun out in the fresh air and sunshine as well. Stay tuned…
