Sometimes a fun idea will pop into my head that absolutely begs to be drawn. Then, as I begin to draw this idea sparks more ideas, and those even more after that. I was working on such an idea for a pumpkin farm a while ago. It started a chain reaction that lasted a couple of days. Before I was done I had more than two dozen concepts of what I call pumpkin people and pumpkin creatures depicting what life is like down on the farm. I’ll be showing these ideas at an upcoming farm conference later this month. I suspect we will soon be fabricating some of these wonderful creations as big as life.
