We fabricated and installed a new main sign for Vala’s Pumpkin Patch two years ago. It was mounted to and old windmill in a new planter in front of the admissions barn. Once we were finished the installation they filled the planter with flowers. They quickly discovered that guests took selfies with the new sign and the flowers took a real beating from guests who climbed up on the planter to pose with the sign. This year during my visit I noticed the flowers weren’t planted in that location. The photo spot has become so popular they are thinking about hard surfacing the location and making the photo spot official.
