Matt and Peter (with Grant mixing the magic mud) sculpted the rear of the rear of the submarine today. The see-through armature became a whole lot more solid and bulky in a hurry. Matt had the witty idea to make the blades of the propeller ‘wood’ which made perfect sense. If they were to strike something solid they would break off rather than shear the shaft with would be a much more involved repair. Tomorrow they will move on to the front of the sub - maybe even finishing it off in readiness for paint next week.
