It is seldom that we get a white Christmas in our part of the world. This year the weatherman promises lots of rain which started late last night. But we did get more than our share of the white stuff in the last few days. I got lots of tractor seat time, clearing our very long driveway and creating huge piles of snow. Our cold snap ended last night but as the warm rains swung in from the coast everything was coated with a very thick layer of ice. It’s the perfect time to be stuck in the house helping Janis put the turkey in the oven for our first family gathering that comes for supper. Christmas at our house has begun!
