Today was a very exciting day for it was at last time to fit the giant handle to the world’s largest hand pump. It was no small task but with the help of a chain hoist and three strong guys (plus me) we coaxed it into position. Then, after levelling and aligning the pieces we did a bunch more fabricating and welding to make sure it will be super secure when it is permanently assembled at the Clovermead Adventure Farm in Aylmer, Ontario in the coming months. We are down to the details tomorrow before we pull the handle off the pump and put it on a very sturdy welded steel stand for painting and transport. Stay tuned…
