The last of the fabrication and sculpting was completed on the giant robot Sprocket this afternoon. Weeks of preparation and attention to detail was suddenly finished. In the next day or so we’ll go over every square inch of the massive sculpture making sure all burs, sharp edges and rough spots are smoothed out in preparation for paint. We’ve picked out all of the colours and put in an order for the paint. It is going to change in a hurry, multiple times from this point as we prime and then paint things nice and bright before adding faux rust, weathering and grime to make it authentically ‘well used’.
