We strongly believe in sharing the knowledge and techniques we use in our shop. It isn’t common, as most creative shops are very locked down and secretive. Through the process of sharing it is our hope that the bar for the industry will be continually raised. Most often, as we share, we also learn exciting new things from our ‘competitors’. This week we were pleased to welcome a long time acquaintance, James Powell from Monster City Studios in Fresno California. We spent a couple of days sharing ‘secrets’ and stories of our many adventures in the business of creating themed environments. While there is some overlap, the work they do and the methods they employ are often quite different. A good time was had by all.
