Today was all about forming and welding the big steel for the NEB’s submarine mini golf entrance. The plasma cut steel was easy to fit as the pieces were precise. Lifting the heavy pieces into place took much more effort! Once everything was fitted, clamped and tacked it was time to pull long beads of weld. Tomorrow it will be time to begin adding the edge pieces to make the curved I-beams look like they are of one and a half inch thick steal, rather than the quarter inch place. Then we pull long beads of weld and grind everything smooth to finish. Tomorrow it should go twice as fast as Matt will be joining me on the task. Stay tuned…
