The crew worked hard to almost finish the lath work on the entrance tree. Tomorrow’s plan is to sculpt all of the bare wood areas of the tree. These areas will be deeply weathered and gnarly woodgrain with plenty of character. Then on Friday we can sculpt the remaining areas with bark to finish the sculpting of this piece. That will make it ready for paint next week. I can hardly wait to see it finished! Stay tuned...
