We made the conscious decision to be a home-based business from the very start, almost fifty years ago. I wanted the best of all worlds, doing what I loved while still being close to my family as they grew up. There were those who questioned our decision but looking back we don’t regret it in the least. Because the world comes to us rather than us trying to find customers we needed something distinctive to make us stand out from the norm. Our residence is at the front of our property with the shop far to the rear. By adding a dynamic theme to the house it acts as a giant sign to let our customers know what we do. The result is a one-of-a-kind house that attracts a lot of attention and literally stops traffic, so much so that we keep our front gates closed and allow customers in by appointment only. In retrospect working from home was the best possible decision we could have made!
