Behind curtain number two

Our shop is an assembly line of creativity of sorts. Raw materials are carried into one side where we cut and fabricate the required structures, then weld in the pencil rod armatures, lath and eventually sculpt and paint. Once complete the finished pieces are rolled out the giant shop doors. The welding is done behind an orange curtain to protect the eyes of the crew working on the other side. While this process often involves multiple members of our crew, it is Keith who does the bulk of the structural welding these days. The massive structural metal frame for the NEB’s Castle is almost complete. Next week we’ll begin the even larger Secret garden frame. Stay tuned…
