Tucked amongst the super large features currently in the shop are a bunch of smaller pieces. We use these less demanding projects to fill odd times during the day when there’s a bit of concrete left over or we are waiting for the paint to dry on a big piece. This tree is a secondary section of a larger feature bound for NEB’s Fun World. It, like a bunch of the others, is nearing completion and will be moved out to the parking lot later this week. The towel-wrapped protrusion is to allow it to hook into a larger piece which will be adjacent to this tree. The low-hanging pipe that protrudes from the bottom of the branch is just low enough to bump our heads if we aren’t paying attention. The brightly coloured towel has prevented some potentially nasty bruises.
