Thankfully, my healing process continues at a rapid pace. I feel better with more energy with each passing day. Janis does her best to keep my increasing pace in check and encourages me to elevate my leg (where they took the veins to fix my heart) as much as possible to minimize swelling (which is minor) of my right foot. I am now walking about five thousand steps each day and slowly increasing. I spend a little time in the shop each day advising and encouraging the crew. I also get to attend client meetings a couple of times each week and continue doing design work. All in all my active life is slowly returning to normal. The good news is that I will be allowed to drive a vehicle again starting on Monday, four weeks after my discharge from the hospital. Because Monday is a holiday and I’m not allowed to lift anything heavy, Keith helped me remove the Jeep hard top and install the half doors on Friday. Now I’m just counting the hours…
