Hand tying galvanized mesh to our armatures is a tough job that few on our crew truly enjoy. The more complex the structure the harder it is to do a good job in getting the mesh onto the frame, nice and tight and neat. We know the reward of our efforts is that the tougher the project, the better it will look when we are complete. The giant pumpkin photo op has many complex curves and plenty of corners. Much of the project is overhead and it is definitely larger than most but the good news is this piece is almost completely meshed. How quick we can finish in the morning will determine if there are enough hours to tackle the sculpting tomorrow as this piece would be best sculpted in one go to ensure there are no unsightly seams.
