Dimensional contour maps have always fascinated me. I remember seeing a large one depicting the entire province of British Columbia as a youngster. These contour maps help visualize tricky sites during the planning stage. We are currently designing a complex project on a fifteen acre parcel of land. Our client had an accurate survey done and I used these contours to create a scale routing file. Our CNC router made short work of creating this 40 inch by 26 inch scale model. This tactile reference will allow us to develop the plan for property accurately and make best use of the land in the process.
