We live near the top end of the Fraser River delta, about sixty miles from the coast. This means mountains surround us on three sides. This time of year, they are sporting the first snow that won’t melt until Spring. Of all the local peaks, my favourite is, to the south, Mount Slesse, which tops out at 7969 feet. Although it is not the tallest, it is the most spectacular!
