It was a crazy busy week in the workshop and Hazelnut Inn. Thankfully, the big projects are now all wrapped around the North Star suite. That still leaves a few thousand small details but each day we cross a few more off the list. With the construction dust all cleaned up it is time to hang curtains, pictures and all of the funky ‘artifacts’ we’ve been collecting or creating. Today Peter test-hung the picture frames. He’s still busy working on the fancy ‘historical’ artwork that will be slipped behind the glass. The beautifully painted walls are becoming perfectly cluttered with eye candy. Every piece is designed to further the story of the Hazelnut Inn. This place needs to be seen in person to appreciate the endless details. The open house will be held June 1, there’s only thirty-five sleeps to go…
