Tool envy

I endure a constant barrage of grief and ribbing every time we reposition my rolling workbench because it is a little heavy. On one end is mounted a large steel vice and on the other is a good-sized antique anvil. Both are prized tools I use frequently, well worth a little extra effort to move the bench when we need to. The fact is, I am sure the ribbing I endure is because of tool envy. Yesterday I came into the shop to find Peter using the beautiful vice and anvil to shape some steel leaves we required for the pumpkin carriage. I couldn’t resist snapping a picture and noted the huge joy on Peter’s face as he worked. Pictures don’t lie.
