Save for our welders, the tool we use most often in the shop is our FastCut CNC plasma cutter. We are busy fabricating two more weathervane crows for the Kraay Family Farm in Alberta, which means we need hundreds of plasma-cut steel features to shape and weld into place. Keith kept the machine busy today, cutting multiple sheets of steel plate while I began fitting and welding the feathers into place. I hope that within a day or two, this crow will be finished, and then I can begin the second. Stay tuned…
