The top of the east side of the North Star is almost painted. The south wall is also getting it’s colour. The North and west wall will get their sculpted plaster this week. The front suite of the Hazelnut Inn is starting to look pretty spiffy and colourful! It sure makes me smile each time I drive by.
Turning of the page.
The end of summer is always an exciting time for us as we have wrapped up and delivered this year’s projects and are beginning the serious planning for next year’s season. It’s the time of new ideas and new concept drawings - all more fanciful and elaborate than anything previously accomplished. Soon the shop will be full of these new ideas, all of which need to be done by the beginning of next summer. The process seems to have begun extra early this year. We have lots of cool builds already in the planning stage. Stay tuned for regular updates…
More IAAPA EXPO booth progress
While I’ve been travelling to the USA for seven days the crew has been busy at home. Poor weather forced them inside for a couple of those days and they made great progress on the submarine for our IAAPA EXPO booth. The inside of the submarine and the booth itself received some fresh paint. It’s all looking pretty fine! I’m looking forward to spending some time on the project this coming week.
