It’s the night before the second (and last for 2019) Sculpting Magic Workshop. As with the first, earlier this week, everything in the shop is laid out and ready. We’ve completed the big grocery shopping trip. In the house Janis is busy with the last of the preparations. The house smells of freshly baked cookies and other delicious treats. I’m going over my notes and schedule one last time to make sure all is done. Company is coming tomorrow, bright and early, and we are ready to go!
Young helpers
Back when Phoebe (our oldest grandchild) was very young she loved to make a cameo appearance at our workshops, often working on a project of her own as she got a little older. Phoebe has always loved to interact with our guests. Now at last, it is Juniper and Henry’s turn to come into the shop to ‘work’. It won’t be long until they too do projects of their own. In the meantime they just ‘help’ on our pieces.
Awesome workshop!
As after every workshop we host I sit exhausted but happy. I know everyone on our team feels the same way. For three days everyone in the group went full blast, welding, wiring, sculpting, painting and a whole lot more. We packed all we possibly could into three full days. It is our sincere hope that everyone came away believing they could do much more than they did going in. We are believers, based on the wonderful projects accomplished in three days! Thanks to a lot of effort from family and our employees things went very well. We had so many laughs, and shared so many stories and experiences. It was a great workshop! Now, we recharge our batteries, clean the shop and prepare for the next group. In two days we’ll be ready to do it all once more…
