This week we are suddenly in the farm sign business. A second farmer also approached me to make a new sign for their llama and alpaca farm. They wanted their new sign to feature ‘slightly cartoon versions’ of an alpaca and llama. They provided me with plenty of photos of their beloved animals for reference.

Generally the cartoons I draw feature slightly exaggerated features I observe. As I looked at the photos of the animals it made me laugh. No exaggeration was necessary. Each animal was a lovely cartoon already - without any help from me. It’s a project with my name all over it. This is going to be FUN in Yarrow...
