The submarine themed board room we are currently fabricating begs for suitable wall decoration to match. One of the pieces I am building is a submersible model. complete with LED lighting. It’s the first time I have worked with this medium and it is pretty exciting! The submarine is the most detailed one I have built to date, designed to show the capabilities of the CNC router. I’m having the most fun ever.

I also find the project extremely challenging, for there are no real plans. It is all built to a visual standard, with constant modifications as I go. The project is now far enough along I could mock it up and light it for the first time. I’ll take a few notes, some measurements and then disassemble one last time before I continue. From here on in every stroke is permanent. I’ll be posting a few more shots as things progress. Stay tuned...
