One piece at a time

Over the weekend I managed to sneak a little time in the shop to work on the hotrod. I disassembled and then fabricated a whole new bracket for the steering gear. That job proved to be a little more complicated than I imagined but it works great now and looks a whole lot better too. I also lowered the front end of the car by two inches (the rear is for another day) which made a big difference in how it sits. With that work done I went on to designing and fabricating the new fenders. Although I did manage to get all of the pieces cut I only had time to weld up one front fender and get it on the car. The biggest job of the weekend was putting away the car, all of the tools, and cleaning the shop in readiness for the crew who will be doing real work tomorrow. :)
