My original ambitious plan was to finish my Sign Invitational piece over the Christmas break. But things don’t always work out the way we dream. Mainly, I kept myself busy with many other exciting projects. I did manage to do a little work however. The truck deck is now sculpted and some of the figure is under way. The sign post is roughed out and the ground under the truck is complete. This weekend it is my hope to finish the sculpting and then I’ll begin the painting at last. Although I am definitely a bit behind by my schedule I take a little comfort in knowing my piece is further along than many of my friends. It will be ready to ship in short order.
