The front of the castle is coming along nicely although it is a bit hard to visualize at this early stage. Forming the armature for the sculpted concrete work involves welding up a pencil rod frame and then forming and attaching the galvanized lath. This is the time intensive process. Since the pencil rod and lath are transparent and hard to visualize it doesn’t look like much to the casual observer. When we get to towelling on and sculpting the concrete it will come together very quickly. That process is about to begin very soon. We are almost ready for the mud…
