Troweling on the mud

The sculpted concrete work has begun in earnest on the front of the Copper Crown castle. The highest gable was sculpted in it’s entirety this afternoon as well as the stone work on the lower castle tower. It is always amazing how fast this step of the work gets done. Much of the balance of the surface is a plainer, aged plaster which goes even quicker. The weatherman is promising favourable weather tomorrow which means big progress. Stay tuned…
