The steel delivery truck was barely out of the driveway as we began cutting the Corten steel for the super sized drum project. We had previously cleared a very large spot in the centre of the shop in anticipation of the build. This project will certainly dominate the shop workspace for the next while! We cut up twelve of the oversized sheets of steel and managed to get the base plate in place and welded together before quitting time. We will begin vertical fabrication tomorrow. Stay tuned…
