Day two on the giant drum project was a busy one. We cut and welded a whole lot of structural steel pieces for the base. With three welders going at full speed, things go very quick. The structural steel and drum mounting points for this section are now complete and we have begun welding up the decorative steel sections. We’ll be around the base structure tomorrow and perhaps even start the drum. Stay tuned…
