Brick by brick

Today we spent our time sculpting the brick wainscotting in the North Star suite of the Hazelnut Inn. Brick is always labour intensive to sculpt and we upped the ante considerably by doing a herringbone pattern on the rounded tower walls and a curved and bevelled door frame. Up above smaller panels of brick were done inside the timber framing. It all turned out fabulous and tomorrow the crew should finish all of the areas that are ready for mud. This room is going to be breath taking when we are done!
