This weekend it was time to button up the hood of the little hot rod. I measured and figured for quite some time and then cut the first piece. Although it was somewhat close it didn’t nearly fit good enough. But that piece provided a much better starting point to re-measure and figure things out. My second try was much more successful and with a little grinding will work just fine. Tomorrow, I’ll figure out a way to do the bend in the panel to bring the top in to where it needs to be. I’ll use this piece to size up the second side and perhaps get it right on the very first try. Stay tuned…
