We’ve begun work on the top portion of Calamity Jan’s Mining Supply sign. It will feature Jan struggling with a pack mule loaded with supplies. It is just slightly smaller than life size. Peter first welded up the armature and then attached the lath. The balance of the sculpture will be sculpting epoxy - all done by hand. We are currently applying the rough hard coat over the galvanized mesh and then Peter will do the detail work. This piece should come together this coming week.
