With our entry into thee local hot rod show fast approaching we needed to finish the sign for our display. I posted the start of this project back at the end of February and beginning of March. But the sign has sat idle while we were busy on other things. This week we squeezed in the time to do the sculpting and a little paint too.
We decided on a metallic lime green to make it stand out from the rest of our colorful display. The black and white checkers and grey pavement colors of the of the base balance things out nicely. The little antique auto screams hot rod with the attitude in it’s stance and the classic big and little rubber. The sign measures 26” wide x 24” tall and 10” deep. Despite the small size the sign stands out in a big way. It is sure to grab the attention of every car enthusiast who passes by our booth at the car show.
