It is always a great feeling to put the last details to a sign that has been underway for a while. On this project I did the design, routing, plasma cutting, welding and assembly. Then the sign was passed on to Peter who sculpted the dog. When he was finished his work Grant painted on the base colours and then passed the sign on to Becke for the finishing paint magic. Today, Becke painted the last strokes of colour. It will be handled one more time as we mount it to the shipping base in preparation of its journey to Nebraska. When it arrives there I’ll be on the farm to make sure it is carefully taken out of the trailer and transported to its permanent location and then mounted securely to the building, along with the many other pieces of this project. One more off the list.
