The welding on the upper section of the bridge tree is now complete. It took a while to fabricate the structure for the many tapering branches and then weld on the many, many leaves. The next step is to hand tie on the galvanized mesh. The tricky part will be to do it without bumping into the leaves. We aren’t worried about the leaves and branches for they are plenty strong but it would definitely hurt to fight with them. Grant is looking forward to this job (not) and will wear all appropriate safety gear for the task.
