Some time ago we were afforded a unique opportunity to theme a company boardroom. The owner of the business had been in our studio a number of times and promised us that when the time was right we would do his boardroom. That time came about a year later. He gave us licence to design something cool with few limits. The company sold CNC machines and we designed a boardroom that would showcase the creative things you could do with the equipment. We called it the submarine room, inspired by the classic movie 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea. Although the room was fabricated of wood and Precision Board high density urethane it appeared to be rusty steel. Company branding was subtly placed more than fifty times through the room. The boardroom was featured in many publications and garnered multiple national and international awards. On seeing the room prospective clients were instantly sold on what these marvellous CNC machines could do.
