It is very exciting to paint a blank canvas - especially one that is more than half an acre in size! I spent a fun and leisurely Sunday afternoon measuring and laying out the greens of Syl’s Mini Golf in Carman, Manitoba. The local construction team had made my job easy as they had already done a great job of laying down the base gravel, installing the drain pipes and electrical conduits for the lighting as per the concept plan. Tomorrow morning there will be a good sized construction crew raring to go. We’ll do some final shaping and packing before starting to lay down whole lot of rebar. By the afternoon we will get the first of the concrete poured in readiness to place some features the next day. It is going to be an extremely busy week! By next weekend it will look a whole lot more like a mini golf rather than a parking lot.
