We put in a long and busy day at Syl’s Mini Golf. We had three machines, and seven skilled workers going strong. Two dump trucks were hauling gravel steady and as fast as they dumped the gravel we were grading and packing it into place. We managed to get eleven greens shaped and the rebar laid plus the forming for two more footings for features. All in all we made great progress on our first day in site. Tomorrow, we will continue with the shaping of the greens and pouring of most of the greens. Wednesday, the plan is to bring in a large crane to place the first of the features. We will also begin the placing of the concrete sidewalks. The locals have taken notice of all the the action and are counting down the days until they can play their first game of mini golf.
