It was day one of the exterior theme work for the Underhill Suite of the Hazelnut Inn. We first began blocking the shapes of the walls with structural steel around which we will form the pencil rod armature for the massive beams and stonework. Each piece of steel is carefully formed with our hydraulic bender, fitted and then cut to length before we weld it in place as there are no straight lines in this area. It is definitely fiddly work. but we made great progress on the first day. It is awesome to work out in the sunshine once again!
