The North Star bedroom in the Hazelnut Inn is now almost fully painted. With the end wall complete we couldn’t resist installing the lighting shells there and pulling the protective coverings off of the mermaids. The room is already breathtaking. Once the headboard is painted and a few other touch-ups done we’ll install the rest of the lighting fixtures. Then it is on to paint the majestic sitting room. As the painting crew works down from the very high domed ceiling we will pull down the scaffold. We’ll take lots of pictures and post them here as soon as that happens. Stay tuned…
