Tomorrow we begin the sculpting of the front of the Under Hill suite in earnest. That meant I needed to get busy sculpting up the first beam end which is situated above one side of the entrance. I’ve been hankering for some nice owl heads on a beam end for decades. I’ve designed them into a number of projects but never actually got to sculpt one until today. Everyone approved of the design and so I’ll do a similar one for the other side of the door tomorrow. Our goal is to sculpt at least one of the big curved beams tomorrow. It’s going to be fun!
