It was with great excitement that we began the sculpting of the large curved beam of the Under Hill suite today. It is always amazing how fast things change as we sculpt. The giant ‘timber’ looks great already, even without its final paint. We also managed to do the curved wooden window beam. Next week we’ll tackle the other side as well as the vertical posts on either side of the door. These posts will sport some decorative carving which will match the double doors. We’ll also do the rough stone work on the wall and planters after that. Stay tuned for magic…
