One of the last pieces of the sculpted concrete at the front of the property is the gate post and surrounding wall. Before that could be finished the people gate needed to be designed and installed. The fancy filigree metalwork matches the posts on the adjacent bridge. The gate looks light and airy but is actually cut from 3/8 thick plate steel. Like the rest of the Hazelnut Inn it is going to be here for a very long while!
