No translation is needed for it is actually written in English in the International Phonetic Alphabet which is an international writing system that was created to describe sounds that are made in language around the world. The system dates back to the mid 1880’s. For those clever enough to figure it out the words over the Under Hill doors read ‘a house in the ground means comfort’.
