As I was walking by the Hazelnut Inn today this particular view caught my eye. It made me smile. This is a celebration of materials and textures. Although every square of it is hand sculpted concrete that is not what you see. Weathered wood, carefully fit rock work, ancient chiseled stone, rough brickwork, cracked plaster and huge boulders greet the viewer. Once painted and enhanced by lush greenery it will be a masterpiece.
