There’s a dragon coming to life on our welding table. The dragon is part of the garden door for the Copper Crown suite of the Hazelnut Inn. We first cut the silhouette pieces from 1/4” thick steel plate. These were heated and shaped with a acetylene torch before being welded into place. Now we will begin cutting the individual scales and welding them into place to create a 3D version. It will be a castle door quite unlike any other!
