Amazingly, Henry turned three years old last week. I mentioned to him that he was getting very big. As always, he then asked me if it was time for him to learn to weld, something promised ‘for when he is bigger’. The answer was not yet, but it got me to thinking. He is always rummaging through our giant tool chest looking for tools when he comes out to the shop to work. Today, I deemed it time for him to get his own drawer for his very own tools. For now we selected an assortment of used tools, which he took great delight in. But the next time we go to town it will be time to do some serious shopping. We’ll go to the tool store and he will get to pick out a few of his very own tools for his tool drawer. I can hardly wait!
