While I’ve been busy in the shop and at my design desk, the painting crew has been busy over at the Hazelnut Inn. The first coat of paint may have seemed a bit off to those passing by as we use whatever paint we have left from previous projects. Once that initial paint is in place the next two coats are closer to the final result. Many areas now have all three base coats done. In the next stretch of good weather the final blend coat and glazes will begin. It is looking mighty fine at the Hazelnut Inn!
