We decided it would be more authentic if we made the pump handle grip a rounder shape. It was a ‘simple’ matter of bending a couple of 2.5” pipes to the handle shape and then welding plate steel to the edges. Simple idea…. but a whole lot more cutting, fitting and grinding than a square box. I did the layout, fitting and primary assembly. Matt won’t be bored for the next long while as he gets to do the rest of the welding and grinding. Matt is my hero! There will be no body filler in this handle and it is going to look fabulous when it is done!
